I recently participated in a food tour as part of a friend’s bachelorette celebration. The tour was fantastic!! We were all pleasantly full by the end of the tour and had learned interesting information about Santa Barbara’s history. I live in the area so it was great to discover new restaurants and businesses that I enjoy. Allison was a wonderful guide and I will definitely recommend this tour as a great way to experience good food and learn more about an area - whether you are a tourist or resident!

Such a fun way to explore Santa Barbara. We are local, and this is our first food tour. We discovered hidden gems and scenic yummy spots, and plan to return for more treats (oh, those macarons, and that perfect Bolognese...).

Allison is a wonderful guide. She finds all the gems in downtown Santa Barbara, from a little wine bar in the Paseo to a quaint French patisserie. Each of the half-dozen or so stops had samples of their best offerings, but the sizes sure weren’t skimpy. She says by the end of the tour you get the equivalent of a full meal, but I think we got much more!

This food tour was great. I’ve lived in Santa Barbara for 14 years and the tour exposed me to some food and places that I have never experienced and taught me some fun facts about a few places that I had been to and are among my favorites in town. The tour was the perfect length and right amount of walking and was a good balance of sweet and savory, along with some good wine. I would definitely recommend this tour to any food lovers out there or people just interested in getting a flavor (pun intended) for the town. The tour even included some historical information about Santa Barbara, which was an added bonus.

What an amazing time getting to know not only the food/wine of local businesses, but also the history of such a beautiful area! It was a lot of fun and I was impressed with the warm and friendly service at each stop. The tour guide Allison also knew so much and was very helpful with any questions we had. If you live in or are visiting Santa Barbara, it’s worth every penny and time spent. Plus you walk everything off so it has a health bonus too :)

Each restaurant we visited was unique in it’s own way, so your taste buds never get bored! I loved learning about and tasting the many cheeses in C’est Cheese, it felt like a cheese shop you would stumble upon in Paris.
